On March 28, the Lady Bulldogs traveled to Lakeside to face the Blue Ridge Lady Yellowjackets. In the top of the second inning, the Lady Bulldogs would score first with a two RBI single by Kendra Ybarra.
In the top of the third inning, the Lady Bulldogs would add to their lead when Sasha Medina would score on a fielder’s choice, followed by base runner Rylie Sharp scoring on a sacrifice fly for a score of Winslow 4, Blue Ridge 0.
In the top of the fifth inning the Lady Bulldogs would add seven more runs starting with a Brynlee Barris RBI double, her second double of the game. Base runner Rylie Sharp would score on an error and Jaylynn Sharp would score on a passed ball. Followed by Lianya Brown and Ybarra each scoring on errors. Angela Salazar would hit a double with an RBI and end up scoring on an error.
In the bottom of the fifth inning, the Lady Yellowjackets would score three runs on a Jessica Wallace two RBI double and Kyrie Ramirez would score on a walk making the score Winslow 11, Blue Ridge 3
In the top sixth inning, the Lady Bulldogs would score an additional four runs beginning with a solo Homerun by Barris followed with an RBI double by Alexis Smith and then a Brown RBI single. Kyah Wilcox would have an RBI single for the final run of the game for a final score Winslow 15 Blue Ridge 3.
On March 29, the Lady Bulldogs traveled to Payson for an evening game against the Lady Longhorns. In the bottom of the first inning the Lady Longhorns would get on the board first with an Ivy Woolwine RBI single.
In the top of the third inning with two outs, the Lady Bulldogs would take the lead by scoring two runs starting with a Salazar triple with an RBI followed by a Jaylynn Sharp RBI single.
In the top of the fifth inning the Lady Bulldogs would score two more runs with Salazar scoring on a sacrifice fly, also a Ybarra RBI single.
In the bottom of the inning the Lady Longhorns would close the gap with an RBI double by Brinna Hall.
In the top of the seventh inning Smith would score on a fielder’s choice. In the bottom of the seventh inning, Lady Longhorn Hailey Bramlet would hit a two-run Homerun with one out. The Lady Bulldogs would end the game with a double-play.
Winslow pitcher Kyah Wilcox had five strikeouts.
