On Feb. 8, Lady Bulldog Jaci Gonnie started the game needing just seven points to reach the 1,000-point milestone. In the first quarter she would score just six points but early in the second quarter on a three-point shot she would achieve her goal. A 60-second timeout was called so that she could celebrate the moment with her team and fans.

At halftime she would be honored with a plaque with her great-grandparents Patsy Singer and Charley Singer Jr. beside her. This was also their 31st consecutive season of watching their children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and now to be acknowledged beside their great-granddaughter in her accomplishment. Jaci now holds two records at Winslow High School. The first was the most three-point shots in a ballgame with 10, and now the youngest player to reach the 1,000-point milestone as Jaci is just a junior.
