The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Areas 1 and 2 during the period of Jan. 29 – Feb. 4. Areas 1 and 2 include Joseph City, Woodruff, Sun Valley, Goodwater, Adamana, unincorporated areas of Winslow and Holbrook, and parts of the Navajo and Hopi reservations that are located within the boundaries of Navajo County. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt. At 10:56 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 1, Michael Culliver, 31, of Joseph City was arrested for possession and/or use of dangerous drugs and possession and/or use of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Romero Street in Holbrook. After drugs were located in the vehicle, Culliver was booked into the Navajo County Jail. At 5:25 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 3, David Ruelas, 42, of Winslow was arrested for possession and/or use of dangerous drugs and possession and/or use of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Bushman Avenue in Winslow. After drugs were located, Ruelas was booked into the county jail.
