The Winslow Police Department received seven reports of theft during the period of Dec. 19-25 according to dispatcher reports. At 12:11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 21, an employee of Walmart reported the theft of miscellaneous items. At 7:57 p.m. on Wednesday, an employee of Walmart, located at 700 Mike’s Pike Blvd., reported the theft of a pair of boots. Kyle Collins Jr., 23, was charged with shoplifting in connection with the incident. At 8:35 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 24, an employee of Denny’s, located at 400 Transcon Lane reported the theft of a meal valued at $16.70. At 5:07 p.m. on Saturday, a resident reported the theft of a mail package from the 300 block of West Mahoney Street. At 5:36 p.m. on Saturday, an employee of Walmart reported the theft of clothes and a backpack. At 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 25, a resident reported the theft of a bike from the 1900 block of West Third Street At 5:02 p.m. on Sunday, a resident reported the theft of her backpack containing her phone and wallet from the 300 block of West Third Street.
