Obit 2

Born May 7, 1941, and peacefully passed from this Earth on July 6, 2022. Many people live a humble, quiet life and just don’t realize the lives they touch and make a difference in. Stephon was one of these people. The talent of playing the piano was a gift he shared with many. People asked for a copy of music that he played because you could feel all the heart he put into the music. Many people have a cassette tape of his music to enjoy. Stephon did major research on the Holocaust, as that was part of his ancestry. It would bring tears to his eyes as he talked about all those who died. Stephon recognized there is great evil upon the Earth which directed him to do better and be better. Stephon joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and then went through the Temple in Snowflake. What a difference that made in his life as he did work for himself and then his family members. He loved the opportunities to serve others in the House of the Lord. He was very grateful for the Atonement of Jesus Christ which gave him a forgiveness of his sins and provided the way for him to return to his Heavenly Father. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Donna and brother Art. A graveside service will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday Nov. 26, at the Holbrook Cemetery. Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow handled the arrangements.
