Manny Walton, age 59, entered into eternal life on Oct. 28, 2022, in Winslow, surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on Aug. 27, 1963, in Flagstaff, to Norviel Manning and Connie Walton. Manny lived most of his life in Winslow coming here as a young boy to spend summers with his grandparents and moving to Winslow in 1971. Manny cherished his family and life-long friends. He loved motorcycles, drag racing, arrowhead hunting, entertaining his grandkids, and his many dogs. He spent many years repairing appliances in Winslow homes and enjoyed visiting with his customers. Recently he worked at Kachina Gardens and currently at Little Colorado Medical Center. Surviving Manny are his true love and soulmate, Carol Moncayo; son, Christopher Walton and family, Delores, Abbigail, Caelum, Penelope, and Riley; son, Jacob Walton and Caitlin Ford; mother, Connie Walton; brother, Douglas Walton and family Carleen, Mercedes, Reanna and Gracelyn; Stephana Martinez and family Anthony, Dominick, Damian, Dylan and Stormie; Joseph Gomez and family Kathleen, Pelagio, Alejandro, Gabriel, lsieah, and Mariah; Anna Rodriquez-Young and family Michael and Trinity; and Lynna Sweet and family Vandell, Tryston, Amyah, Maliegha, Xander, Chloe and Kynng. Preceding Manny in death are his daughter, Rochelle Celeste Walton; father, Norviel Manning Walton Jr.; grandparents, Norviel “Pinkie” Walton and Mary Walton Randall, Howard R. Hays and Georgia Hays; and his nephew, Hayden Walton. Services with Rosary at 9:30 a.m. and Mass at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 7, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, followed by burial at Desert View Cemetery. Greers Mortuary of Winslow handled the arrangements.
