The Holbrook City Council convened Thursday, Oct. 27, with the only item aside from routine business on the agenda being a presentation by NPC Friends and Family Executive Director Betsyann Wilson.

She noted that due to a donation from an anonymous donor, Friends and Family has additional scholarships for spring to help students deal with inflation. “We have an unprecedented total of over $70,000 to award.”

Wilson also shared some important dates coming up at NPC. Nov. 28 is open registration for spring 2023 classes and US military veterans can register early on the 21st. “These dates are important, because the deadline for students to apply for scholarships from NPC Friends and Family is November 17.” On Nov. 14, the schedule for spring 2023 classes will be available online at www.npc.edu. The college catalog can also be found online at https://www.npc.edu/college-catalog.”

Students can go to https://www.npc.edu/scholarships and use the search bar to type in “NPC Friends and Family” as their search term to see all scholarships available.
