On Oct. 4, Navajo County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Unit conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 40 at Milepost 256 near the Winslow area for civil traffic violations. This traffic stop resulted a search of the vehicle revealing nearly 65,000 fentanyl pills. The approximate street value of these narcotic drugs is $1.6 million. Jacklyn Gutierrez, 28, Otoniel Jurado Tarin, 31, and Rene Navarro, 20, all of Phoenix were each arrested for transportation of a narcotic drug, possession of a narcotic drug and possession of a narcotic drug for sale and booked into the Navajo County Jail. They are each being held on a $150,000 cash-only bond.
