Ronald A. Begay, 68, passed away on Sept. 8, 2022 in Cottonwood. He was born on Dec. 10, 1953, to Samuel H. and Zella Keams Begay in Fort Defiance. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and sports. He is survived by his sons, Tyler and Frasier Begay; daughters, Adrienne Salabye, Andrietta Begay and Andreesa Begay; sister, Gail Calisen; brother, Roald Begay; and 12 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Samuel H. Begay; mother, Zella Keams Begay; sister, Kathy Mathis; brother, Mike Begaii; and great-grandson, Kyren A. Williams. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 14, at Desert View Cemetery in Winslow.
