The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of July 31 – Aug. 6. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt. On Friday, Aug. 5, Byron Hunt, 40, of Heber was arrested for driving with a canceled license and possession of methamphetamine after deputies conducted a traffic stop on an ATV on Forest Park and Antelope Trail. During the search of the individual, 1.9 grams of methamphetamine was located on his person. Hunt as booked into Navajo County Jail.
