The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of July 24-30. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt. On Tuesday, July 26, Diana Alexander, 42, of Heber was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after deputies were dispatched to the 3500 block of Timberlake Drive in Heber for a report of an assault. Alexander was booked into the Navajo County Jail. On Wednesday, July 27, Jeffery Rooney, 52, of Coolidge was cited and released for DUI following a traffic stop on Teddy Bear and Mogollon Drive in Heber for civil traffic violations.
