The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of June 26 – July 2. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt. On Wednesday, June 29, Joseph Craig Bower, 32, of Heber was arrested for DUI, resisting arrest and an open container violation following a traffic stop on State Route 260 near the senior center in Heber. Bower was booked into Navajo County Jail.
