Cynthia Jaramillo Cynthia “Sonia” Jaramillo, sunrise: Gallup, N.M. Sept. 7, 1976 sunset: Winslow, June 26, 2022. Sonia, our beloved mother, daughter, sister, auntie and friend is on her journey into heaven. Sonia was a person that people will always remember in their heart and for the great, kind, giving person she was. She was born in Gallup, N.M. She spent her childhood years with her parents in Winslow. She then moved to Bullhead City with her parents. She attended Mohave High School in Bullhead City. She lived in Bullhead for many years until she relocated back to Winslow in 2016. Sonia was surrounded in life by many childhood friends from Winslow and those she went to high school with, as well as, those she knew from Bullhead. Many people know her for the genuine, hard-working person she was. Many people loved when she sold her famous burritos. She was a self-made entrepreneur. She also enjoyed her transport jobs and built relationships and long-term friendships with many of her customers. Her smile was contagious and she brought joy to those around her. Sonia leaves behind her parents, Vicente “Tito” and Beverley Jaramillo; her brother, Virgil Jaramillo and his wife/her Nina, Christina Jaramillo; her daughter, Candace Jaramillo; her son, Vicente Jaramillo III; and her nephew, Dante Jaramillo. She also leaves behind many beloved friends, aunts, uncles and cousins. Sonia will be greatly missed by many. We give thanks to our Heavenly Father for her life. We hold tight to the hope of being united again in eternal glory through the power of resurrection. God bless you all who loved our mother, daughter, and sister. Memorial Mass will be held on July 1, Madre De Dios Catholic Church.
