A Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m., followed by Mass at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 4 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Winslow. Jose was born on Sept. 11, 1953, in Winslow to Isabel “Liz” and “Papa” John Guerrero. They moved to California eventually, and spent many years there. Their third and final child Jade was born in 1990. Jose’s children were his world and although he and Donna were divorced, they remained the best of friends. Jose had a huge passion for music. Some of the best years of his life were spent playing in the ‘Tight Squeeze’ band. Jose never knew a stranger or enemy and always focused on creating a connection with anyone he came into contact with. He was just one of those types of people.
