Josephine “Pina” O. Perez, 76, passed away on May 7, 2021, in Winslow. She was born on March 8, 1945, to Jose “Joe” and Lucy S. Ono in Winslow. Pina loved to do leather work, working and managing Brown Mug Cafe for over 35 years and her biggest interest was the casino. She worked and managed El Papagayo too for over 25 years. She is survived by her son, Joe A. (Jen) Perez Jr.; granddaughters, Rileigh and Paisley; daughters, Jo Ann (Conrado) Olivas, Paula (Luini) Vargas; grandson, Martin (Cortney) Vargas; great-granddaughter, Ana Luz; and brother, Manuel (Lola) Ono. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe A. Perez Sr.; father and mother, Jose “Joe” and Lucy S. Ono; and grandparents. Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow handled the arrangements.
