Alfonso F. Guzman Alfonso F. Guzman, 91, was born in Winslow on July 30, 1929, to Natividad and Jesus Guzman. He passed away at his home of natural causes on Feb. 8, 2021. Holy Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 12, at Madre de Dios Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m., with interment to follow in Desert View Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Carmen. They were married for 64 years. Together they have one daughter, Teresa Marino (Steve) and five sons, Alfonso Jr. (Margaret), David, Raul, Daniel (Lisa) and Frank (Missy). There are 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Refugio; and three sisters, Consuelo Gallegos, Raquel Acosta and Amparo Romo. Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow handled the arrangements.
