Maida Susana Pergeson Maida (Maestas) Pergeson passed away on July 20, 2020, to be with the Lord and was welcomed into Heaven by her husband, Loyd; their beloved son, Troy (Charletta, surviving wife); Maida’s parents, Nestor and Juanita; and seven of her siblings, Vidal, Louie, Ned, Frankie, Martha, Genevieve and Gloria. Maida is survived by her daughters, Connie (Rick), Traci (Lester) and Pennie (Mark); nine grandchildren, Marcio, Megan, Milly, Madisen, Christian, Tyler, Marcus, Braeden and Kyele; five great-grandchildren, Alycia, Marcio Jr., McKenna, Karterr and Sienna, whom she loved dearly; as well as five siblings, Fella, Andrew, Ernest, Johnny and Leo. Maida was born on the Maestas family ranch, in Arizona on Dec. 8, 1937. Maida was the fifth of 13 siblings of Nestor and Juanita Maestas. Maida lived in Holbrook, where she and Loyd operated many businesses and Maida was always proud to call Holbrook her home. Maida had many friends and family throughout her life who loved her and for that she was extremely blessed. Memorial services will be held at a later date due to Covid-19 restrictions. Hansen Mortuaries handled the arrangements.
