Noretta Young left this world Oct. 8, 2019. She was born Sept. 3, 1926, to Ottie Egers and Marina Turner in Marion County, Ind.

Noretta had five children Richard Young (deceased), Robert (Shirley) Young, Melvin Young and Marina (Bill) Wise; one son name unknown and two foster children. Noretta was blessed to be a grandmother of nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

While living in Indiana she worked among some pretty famous people, she enjoyed her work. She was also a homemaker and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

In her final days she said, “I have had more happiness in Arizona than anywhere else.” She also said she enjoyed 90 percent of her life. In her life she has had a hard life, easy life, and a fool’s life. Noretta ended each conversation with a laugh.
