Funeral Services for Miireux-Michael Hosteen “Woochee” Begaii, 22, will be held at 11 a.m. (MST) on Thursday, March 21, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Stake Center in Winslow. Viewing will be held one hour prior in the Relief Society Room. Burial to follow in Desert View Cemetery.

He was born on Oct. 8, 1996, to Michael Begay and Bernita Shirley in Winslow. He grew up in Dilkon and attended Winslow Junior High School and then went to Holbrook High School. He played four years of basketball for the Roadrunners and graduated in 2016.

“Woochee” is survived by his father, Michael H. Begay; mother, Bernita Shirley; sisters, Michelle (Dan) Sanders and Niicole, Lindsey and Mattea Begaii; brothers, Micheaux and Miircutio “Zeke” Begaii; and grandparents, Manuel and Joann Shirley.
