Winslow High School Principal Justin Hartman has resigned from his position at the high school with the Winslow School Board approving his resignation during their Feb. 7 meeting.

Hartman has spent his entire 20-year educational and administrative career at WHS. He has been in the classroom, served as athletic director and assistant principal, as well as principal.

Hartman’s resignation will go in to effect on June 20, at the end of the school year. The position of principal has already been listed on the district’s website at www.wusd1.org. Superintendent Cyndie Mattox said, “The hiring process will begin soon and will consist of a board of administrators, staff and governing board members.”
