Alice’s Guy is an event that prominent men of the community volunteer to dress up as women and compete as contestants in order to raise funds for Alice’s Place, a domestic violence shelter and services provider in Winslow.

Those who have signed up will compete in swimsuit, talent, evening wear and interview segments. Between the segments an auction of “Honey Do’s” will take place. Other entertainment will also be offered between segments.

Contestants for this year’s event include Jose Luis Aguilera, Ken Arend, Corey Benoit, Jeremy Flores, Dr. Tom Greenwood, Dr. Greg Jarrin, Dallas Jones, Chuck Long, Shane Robertson, Tim Westover and Jack Williams.

Alice’s Guy will take place at 6 p.m. this Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Winslow High School Performing Arts Center, located at 600 E. Cherry St. Tickets will be on sale at City Hall, located at 21 N. Williamson Ave. Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for children.
