Obit Gardner Disa

Disa Ellen Gardner, 56, unexpectedly entered her eternal rest on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, in her home in Taylor. She was born on May 3, 1962, and a few days later was adopted by Darlene and Dick Wammack Jr. A viewing was held on Oct. 16, at the Silver Creek Mortuary and a private interment was held Oct. 18, at the Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery followed by a memorial service at the Centennial Building of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Disa grew up in Hawthorne, Calif., near the beach and spent much of her time swimming, tanning, roller skating and doing gymnastics. When she was 19, she joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and her family is so grateful for her faith. She loved to create, whether by dancing, crafting, singing, painting, decorating or doing home projects. She loved to laugh and loved her family, especially her five beautiful grandchildren who know her as “Ba-Nana.” She leaves a legacy of faith, family and fun. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Jonathan) Johnson; sons, Christopher (Gaby) Larmouth and Collin Gardner; and grandchildren, Eva, Ellie, Kenley, Benjamin and Kyla. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Darlene Ritter and Dick Wammack Jr. Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor handled the arrangements.
