The Winslow Arts Trust (WAT) Museum opened on Sept. 29 with its first exhibition feature the work of the artists that took part in the 2017 Petrified Forest Artist in Residence Program. Also taking part in the event were a number of artists from throughout the region providing a sampling of theatrical storytelling and Native American art. The museum, which is the original BNSF train depot in Winslow, is not yet completely renovated but provided a glimpse into the space that would be provided for future exhibitions.
