James Galvan, 53, passed away on April 2, 2018, in Youngtown. Holy Rosary for James will be recited at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, April 9, at Madre de Dios Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. followed by burial at Desert View Cemetery. He was born on July 31, 1964, to Jose and Beatrice Galvan in Winslow. He worked for the City of Winslow in the Streets Department for over 30 years. He loved to cook, paint and was an excellent home remodeler. He was also an artist and an awesome father. He is survived by his daughter, Leticia Galvan; brother, Charles Galvan (Christine Enriquez); two grandchildren, Nova and Giovanni; two nieces, Telisha and Rayanna; and one great-niece, Brooklyn. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Jose and Beatrice Galvan; and his brother, Juan Galvan. Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow handled the arrangements.
