The Petrified Forest National Park is seeking public comment regarding entrance fee increases into the park for 2018. The park is seeking to increase the motorcycle entrance fee from $10 to $15 and the annual pass from $30 to $40. These fees have not been increased since 1997. A 45-day public comment period will be open from now until Jan. 31, 2018. Please provide any feedback via email at pefo_superintendent@nps.gov or by mail to the Petrified Forest, Attention: Proposed Fee Increases, P.O Box 2217, Petrified Forest, Ariz. 86028. Following the public comment period, feedback will determine how, or if, a fee increase would be implemented.
