The Homolovi Chapter of the Arizona Archaeological Society will meet at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 8, at the Winslow Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center (historic Lorenzo Hubbell Trading Post), located at 523 W. Second St. in Winslow. Speaker Miles will discuss The Cibique Uprising that Began the Apache Wars, a look at history and archaeology.
You can also join members and the speaker for a no-host dinner at 5 p.m. on Feb. 8 at La Posada’s Turquoise Room.
All regular chapter meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month at the visitor center.
