Phillip Edward Blansett, 80, passed away on Friday, Nov. 25, 2016, at the Payson Care Center. No services are planned. Mr. Blansett was born May 8, 1936 in Arkansas to Glen and Hattie Belle Blansett. He married his one true love, Pattye DeVaney, on Oct. 7, 1961, and together they owned and operated the Jackrabbit Trading Post from 1969 to 1995. He lived in Tonto Basin until he passed away. Survivors include his three daughters, Lauri, Cindy and Sandy; his son, Matt; and his brother, Randy. He was preceded in death by his wife Pattye and his parents.
