Rance A. Perkins, 68, of Taylor unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016, due to natural causes. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Clay Springs Cemetery. He was born Nov. 4, 1947, in Kanab, Utah, the oldest of five brothers. Rance did construction from time to time, and also cared for his mother for the last 30 years. He liked to go fishing, enjoyed the outdoors and enjoyed doing puzzles with his mother. Survivors include his mother, Nina Jean Caldwell; and three brothers, Dennis Perkins of Taylor, Bardell Perkins of Wickenburg and Terrel Perkins of Bloomfield, N.M. He was preceded in death by his brother, Brent Perkins; and his father, Glenn Perkins. Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor was in charge of the arrangements.
