The Taylor Town Council election will be held Aug. 30. Three four-year seats will be on the ballot, including those now filled by Mayor Fay Hatch, Vice Mayor Shawn Palmer and Councilman Gary Solomon. Candidate packets are available at town hall, 425 Papermill Road. The documents must be filed with the town clerk between May 2 and June 1 in order for candidates’ names to be listed on the ballot.
