Hubert D. “Sonny” Myers passed away on Monday, Feb. 1, 2016. An informal remembrance will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 309 W. Willow in. All are welcome to join us as we celebrate Sonny’s life. Survivors include his loving wife, Myrtle Bloomfield. He was predeceased by Linda Myers, his wife and mother of his children. He is also survived by his son, Jeffrey Myers; his daughter, Lisa Myers; his granddaughter Ashley; and an unborn great-grandchild. Sonny was retired from Lockheed Martin Corporation, but airplanes continued to be a passion. He enjoyed building and flying both real and RC model airplanes. Although his smile is gone forever, and his hand I cannot touch, I still have so many memories of the one I loved so much. His memory is now my keepsake with which I’ll never part. God has him in his keeping, I have him in my heart. Sadly missed, but never forgotten. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Snowflake was in charge of the arrangements.
