Photo courtesy of Holbrook High School Last weekend, members of the Holbrook High School Spirit Line made their fifth consecutive trip to the Arizona Interscholastic Association State Spirit Line Championships at Grand Canyon University. Holbrook competed in Division II Co-Ed. Both the partner stunt team of Violet Case, Patrick O’Brien and Jose Luna, and the show cheer team placed eighth. The 2015-16 Spiritline includes (front row, left to right) Emily Carlson, Robyn Begaye, Mariah Chiquito, Britney Bell, Vanessa Quesada, Mariah Kelley, Kailen Matty, Tessa Candeleria, Violet Case, Cynthia Rodriguez, (back row) Matthew Case, Patrick O’Brien, McKenzie Clark, Jose Luna, Canela Queiruga, Emily Eavenson, McKenzie Whitman, Autumn Kahler, Delainey Candeleria and Megan Haussman. Jena Briceland is the team manager, and the squad is coached by Cheryl Carlson, Krista Smith and Nichole Lozano.
