Winslow High School will present its winter play, Peter Pan and Wendy at the WHS Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 11, and at 3 and 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12. Admission is $3 per person.
When carefree and careless Peter Pan flies into the nursery of the Darling home, Wendy follows her maternal instincts and thirst for adventure, bringing her little brothers along to the magical Neverland to take care of the motherless Lost Boys. Soon the Darling children are swept into Peter’s deadly battle with Captain Hook and his mostly-fearsome pirate crew. With so much excitement, why ever go home again…? The play was adapted from J.M. Barrie’s novel by Doug Rand.
The cast for Friday night includes John “Travis” Jacobs and Mercedes Autry as Peter Pan and Wendy, Kristen Dalton and Jack Meadows as her brothers John and Michael, and Marvin “Reed” Hatch III as Captain Hook.
The cast for Saturday night includes Jack Meadows and Emily “Emma” Kloor as Peter Pan and Wendy, Marvin “Reed” Hatch III and Reanna Walton as her brothers John and Michael, and Jacob Bolding as Captain Hook.
