A three-vehicle fatal collision occurred at 3:59 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, on Highway 180 near mile marker 308 in Holbrook.
According to the Department of Public Safety three individuals, Justin Breed, 26, Valare Peralta, 32, and an infant, all from Buckeye, were in one vehicle and were pronounced dead at the scene. A fourth person in that vehicle was transported to an area hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries.
Information provided by DPS noted that the vehicle driven by Breed was traveling east on the highway when it sideswiped another vehicle before being struck by a third vehicle.
The driver and passenger inside the vehicle that was sideswiped were transported to area hospitals for treatment of their injuries. The third vehicle had five people inside, and all were transported to area hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Two have since been released, while three others remain hospitalized.
