Christopher “Chris” Cirino passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, in Flagstaff from complications associated with cancer. His wife Kathy was at his bedside.
Chris was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1955 and grew up in Lantana, Fla., where he cultivated a love of the ocean.
He was a beloved husband, brother and father who loved boating, fishing and riding motorcycles.
Chris, a locomotive engineer, was kind and generous, and possessed an exceptional sense of humor. His friends and family will never forget his infectious smile and hearty laugh.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Williams Cirino; his son, Christopher Ferren-Cirino; his daughter, Tiffany Ferren-Cirino; two sisters, Kathy Hedrick and Leslie Doran; a brother, Buddy Cirino; and three nieces and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Vince Cirino.
A private family memorial service will be held in the future. Donations in Chris’ memory can be made to the American Cancer Society.
