Dale Arthur Shane, 71, born Aug. 15, 1943, in Grand Forks, N.D., entered into rest on Monday, Dec. 29, 2014, in Flagstaff. A memorial service was held Jan. 3 at Greer’s Mortuary Chapel in Winslow.
He moved to Arizona in 2007 from Mackay, Idaho. He served in the Navy, and worked at Idaho National Engineering Laboratory.
Dale enjoyed helping people. He donated time delivering food boxes and remodeling homes. His biggest passion was his Harley, and he was a part of A.B.A.T.E of Idaho.
Survivors include his sons, Daniel (Kimberly) Shane and Chadwick Shane; his daughters, Traci (David) Weisz and Samantha (Clint) Cox; his sister, Illa Mae (Ted) Kozel; his brothers, Delroy (Marlene) Shane and Al Shane; and lots of grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Shane; two stepchildren, Shalene and Brian; his father, Earl Shane; and his mother, Donna M. Shane.
