Here’s another reason to believe it’s a small world. On Tuesday, Jan. 24, Randy and Carol Wiedebush (left) of Madsfield, S.D., had to cut their trip to the Grand Canyon short because of the snow. They stopped for lunch at Carl’s Jr. in Holbrook. Moments later, Ruth and Don Gephait (right) of St. Joseph, Mich., who were headed south to visit her sister in Globe, walked into the restaurant to order their lunch. Immediately, there were shouts and howls of laughter from the two women, which drew the attention of every diner in the place. It was a moment everyone enjoyed as two first cousins who grew up playing together were reunited. Though they have kept in touch over the years, they now live 850 miles apart. An unplanned reunion 2,000 miles away from home was a fun moment for the cousins and diners alike. - Photo By Matthew Barger
